I bought this after seeing some folks in an IBD group talking about how it had little to no negative GI affects on their cats. I was glad they sold it in single cans, as I'm tired of having to buy 20 cans of something only to have my boys snub it. My oldest had IBD, and is ridiculously picky. He turns down almost everything except tuna. He can't have chicken, so that really limits my options. I'll just say he cleaned his dish and begged for more, which he NEVER does. I added water because he's very much a puree eater, and he devoured it. He had a very sensitive stomach, so I waited for the gastroenterology side effects to kick in, but it's almost 13 hours later and he's done great. I'll be buying this again because giving him variety in his very limited diet makes me feel better about what he CAN'T DO have - he's not missing out. There's no strong odor, which is a bonus for me. The texture is a little rougher than most pate recipes BUT I think that might be due to higher quality ingredients. Definitely worth every penny.
